CHAPTER 33
CHAPTER 33
"Please don't tell me you're leaving" Ridwan said with so much pain in his eyes and one could easily
tell he felt guilty about all that was happening. He moved closer to me and held my hands and tears
threatened to spill down my face as I had never thought we would be in this kind of position today. We
were so much in love, what happened!!!.
"I have to Ridwan" I said, as I removed his hands from my arm gently staring into his eyes.
"Please don't do this to me, to Us. You know how much I care about you and love you so much. I
can't imagine my life without you Tes, please" Ridwan begged.
"Things have changed Ridwan, This isn't how it used to be. Can't you see, there is so much
difference. And your ability to overprotect is hurting me and it made us even lose our baby. I don't know
what to tell you anymore because we have talked about this over and over again and it's still the same.
You clearly have some issues you need to sort out first and I need my space too" I explained while
struggling to hold in the tears. I couldn't look into his face as I spoke, I occasionally looked down
because I might just change my mind then. Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
"We can work this out Tes, I promise to change. I won't track you, I will let you go anywhere. Just
please don't leave me" Ridwan begged again. I had never seen him so helpless and confused. He
knew it was kind of over but then he probably felt there was something he could still say to change my
mind.
"I can't do this back and forth with you anymore Ridwan. I think we both need to figure this out
separately." I said.
"We can figure it out together, please Tes" Ridwan pleaded again. I knew I couldn't stay there any
longer. I was probably going to start crying.
"I and mother are leaving for lagos tomorrow morning, we will be staying over at Hawa's place
tonight. I should leave now" I said as I saw mother also come to help pack some of the bags. Ridwan
held my hand from behind pleading with me to stay.
"I have to go" I said, releasing my hand from his.
I could see the tears threatening to fall down Ridwan's eyes too. We both were devastated but I felt
this was for the best anyways. I looked at him for the last time as he called out my name before I
closed the door behind me. Immediately I did, I ran up to mother to hug her as I let out all the tears I
had been holding in.
"It's okay my dear" mother said as she rubbed on my back slowly.
"You have to be strong to pull through this. No one said it's going to be easy but I know it's going to
be worth it so don't be hard on your self"
"I will miss him mother, I still really love him" I said as I sobbed.
