His Identity

Chapter 59 Epilogue

It’s been three years since Rita married Rodrigo, three years of bliss and peace. Rita couldn’t ask for a better husband. His love and care was out of this world as he never failed to show the world how much he loved his family.

A year after they got married, Rita delivered a beautiful girl that looked so much like her mother. She had blonde straight hair that seemed to sparkle whenever the sun hit it, she took her father’s eyes which were the colour of the ocean and when she smiled, it was the most beautiful thing her parents had ever seen. Her name was Sophia, named after Rodrigo’s half sister.

After everything had been settled concerning their marriage, Camille broke the news to them that Sophia wasn’t actually his full sister, just a step sister. She had him for a man she got married to when Rodrigo’s father dumped her. The man, Thomas whom they had come to know his name had died from a terminal illness.NôvelDrama.Org content.

Rodrigo, though sad about the incident was glad that he got to share the gift of a sibling with his sister and now, little Sophia got to share the same name with her step Aunt.

“Babe, you should really hurry up. The guests would arrive soon”, Rodrigo said.

Today was the unveiling of Rita’s second child. Her best friend and her parents were due here any minute from now but she didn’t quite seem ready.

Rita already knew the sex of her child but she kept it from Rodrigo. She wanted to see his face when he discovered that she was carrying twin boys. She was beyond overjoyed when the doctor announced that she would be having twin boys.

“I know, it’s just that sometimes, I think about how far we’ve come and I can’t help but feel blessed”, Rita chuckled.

“Darling, we are blessed. Since the very first moment I saw you, I knew I was blessed and even up until now, I can’t believe you’re mine”, he said.

Rita kissed him, pouring all her love and warmth into the kiss. They broke away soon when their two year old daughter hobbled in. She raised up her chubby hands, demanding to be carried. Rodrigo laughed, raising his daughter in the air.

The little girl screamed as her father threw her in the air, catching her before throwing her up again. Rita sighed, loving how they played.

“Okay babe, you should seriously go get dressed”, Rodrigo chuckled.

Sophia was resting on his shoulder, grabbing his hair as she mumbled incoherent words.

“Okay… Okay, I’m going”, Rita said.

Soon, she was done as the first door bell rang. Rita hobbled towards the door, carrying a plate of cake she planned on dropping on the table before the bell rang.

She opened the door to reveal the beautiful face of her best friend Theresa who was in the company of her bodyguard husband, Marco.

“Babes”, Theresa squealed, giving her a hug.

Marco chuckled as they headed inside. He gave Rita a side hug while shaking Rodrigo’s hands. Rita placed the plate of cake on the table as she led them towards the living room.

“I knew you’d arrive so early”, Rita chuckled.

“You think I’ll be late, not a chance”, Theresa chuckled.

“Where are the kids?”, Rita asked.

“Oh, their over at Granny’s. She hasn’t seen them for a while so I just decided to leave them there. Babe, you are one helluva sexy woman”, Theresa whistled.

“Oh please, especially not with my bloated stomach and full face. Surely, I can’t be like you who is looking all shades of Kylie Jenner”, Rita smiled.

The doorbell rang again but this time, Rodrigo left to get it. Soon, her parents and Rodrigo’s walked in. Her mother was holding the largest gift box Rita had ever seen. She rolled her eyes, knowing how her mother could go overboard sometimes.

“Oh Mom, you didn’t have to bother”, Rita smiled, giving her a warm hug.

“Let it never be said that the great May Anderson came to her daughter’s unveiling without a gift. It’s scandalous”, she cringed.

Rita laughed when she saw her father shake his head while laughing silently. Rodrigo took the gift from her, placing it in a corner.

“How are you dear?”, Camille smiled, giving Rita a warm hug.

“Camille, I’m fine. Better actually”, she smiled.

“I’m glad to hear that and I hope the baby is kicking well”, she laughed.

“They can’t wait to come out”, Rita laughed.

“Welcome everyone, it’s time. Please take a seat”, Rodrigo boomed.

Rita suddenly felt nervous as she watched everyone she loved take their seats. She stood in front of the group, taking out the card where the gender of the child was written. It was painted in blue and Rita couldn’t wait to show them that she was expecting twin boys.

Without missing a beat, she raised a blue card up. The whole group broke out in applause as tears of joy streamed down her mother’s eyes.

“It’s a boy”, Rodrigo laughed.

He received handshakes and hugs from the group as Rita watched it all with tears of joy shining in her eyes.

“Not quite”, she said.

At her words, the group settled down as they stared at her. Rita saw the look of confusion on their faces but when she raised a second blue card up, the group broke out in excitement.

Rodrigo walked towards her, staring deep into her eyes as tears of joy threatened to fall down his eyes.

“I’m going to be the father of twin boys”, he croacked.

“Yes and you’re going to be the best dad to our children”, Rita smiled.

Rodrigo took her lips in his, pouring all his love and adoration into his. Rita knew that her joy was complete and she couldn’t wait to begin the next Chapter of their lives.
