Chapter 16
I laughed in disbelief at Sebastian's words. This m'the'rf*ck'r was the one who framed.
If she is unable to prove her innocence and gets thrown into the dungeon, it will be because of him.
"But, what is your problem with me? You cheated on me with my step sister. When I caught you, you told me that you weren't the one-lady kind of man and you rejected me. I have moved on. Why don't you do the same?"
He frowned and grabbed my chin. "Moved on? With my uncle, huh?" He dug his fingers into my cheeks and continued. "Whether you like it or not, you are not getting rid of me in your life that easily. You dared challenge me and call me a rapist. I'll make you pay for that." "You tried to rape me. I wrinkled my nose in disgust. "If Alpha Leo had not walked in on time that day, you would have done so. Leave me alone. You have no excuse to try to make my life miserable. You're not to be this close to me. If you leave now, I might consider not reporting you
Sebastian cackled. "It seems like you don't understand the weight of the allegations placed on you. You committed treachery. That's a crime punishable by death."
I gulped in fear.
He was not wrong.
"You're an animal," I growled. "How dare you say such things to me after framing me? What do you want from me?" Sebastian smirked. He pushed me down till I fell on my knees and then brought his groin area toward my mouth. "It will be like the good old days. I rejected you as my mate alright. That does not mean we can't hang out."
I was bewildered. Was this the same person she had liked her whole life. Seeing Sebastian act like this now made me realize how people could pretend to be angels when they were far from being so.
He pushed my head closer to his groin and my blood boiled hot. I felt my veins throbbing in my neck and I clenched
fists.
Without thinking twice, I bit him in the place he pushed my mouth too.
He yelped in pain. His eyes widened in shock.

I took the opportunity to run out of the restroom to the hall and then to my car without minding the looks I got from those who saw me.
I met Janice leaning on my car. I crouched before her, catching my breath.
I laughed. I was terrified, but all I could do was to laugh.
Janice bent down before me, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. "What's happening?"
"It's Sebastian," I replied, still laughing. "I bit his groin."
Still furrowing her eyebrows, she threw her head back and laughed. "What the hell Rita? I know he deserves it, but how did that happen? Is he not on a restraining order? Don't tell me he still tried to... Her voice trailed, but knowing what she wanted to ask, I nodded in response.
Wow!" Janice stood on her feet. "Get into your car. I'll drive you to my house."
The drive to her house was a quiet one.

Janice did not ask me about the incident with Alpha Leo. I wanted to know what she felt about the situation. Did she believe I could do such a thing or does she not? If she did, why was she still talking to me? Was it because I was her friend? I could not ask what her thoughts were so I just sat through the ride without saying anything to her.
We finally reached her house. She left home at eighteen. She lived alone in a one bedroom apartment so I did not have to bother about what her parents would say about having someone who had possibly tried to poison the Alpha over.
"I did not poison him," I said immediately we walked into her house and she gave me a small smile.
"I know," Janice said in response. "Though, at first I was confused because I know how much you've been keeping things from me lately, but then again I know you well enough to know that if you wanted to poison someone, it would be Sebastian, not the Alpha The Alpha has been nice to you and I know you're not an ingrate
I went over to her and hugged her. Thank you."
It was good to know that at least one person was on her side.
Thank goodness-Alpha Leo gave you a chance to prove yourself. We just have to find a way to let every other person know the truth too. Do you know who framed you?"
I nodded. "Sebastian. He told me that he framed me. Sadly, I could not reach out to my phone to record everything he was saying.
Janice pressed me closer to herself. "We will find a way
My phone rang.
I left out a small gasp when I saw who was calling. "Alpha Leo is calling."
"He is?" Janice looked as confused and nervous as I was "Just pick it."
I picked the call and switched on the call speaker.
"Why aren't you home yet?" Alpha Leo said and I stood quiet for a moment.
How would I go to his place? I was accused of trying to poison him.

you that you're not guilty until it is proven. Come back home."
I was innocent alright, but at the same time, wasn't the planted wolfsbane enough to convince him that I had poisoned him.
Was he trying to trick or did he really like me this much?
I-I paused and then swallowed. "I want to stay away for now. I have somewhere else to stay."
"Come back. I have something to tell you. No. I actually have a question for you. So, come back. It's an order.
Before I could say anything, he ended the call.
I looked back at Janice. "What should I do?"
She shrugged. "I think you should go. If he wants to kill you, he will not need to call you."
"Fine. 1 will go back."
I quickly grabbed my car keys, waved Janice goodbye and left the house.
In less than an hour, I was at Alpha Leo's mansion and immediately 1 walked into the great room, I saw Alpha Leo seated on

Despite the situation between us, I salivated at the sight of his bare chest. Noticing where my eyes were, a smug smile spread across his face.
"Rita, look up at my eyes not my chest, he teased and my face turned red.
I quickly threw my face away from me. "You told me over the phone that you have a question for me. What is it?"
"Rita," he called out softly. "Be my Luna, will you?"
