Chapter 60
He hadn’t been in since morning, and seeing her put him in a good mood, and he wanted to eat what she had made.
Ava Lins was facing him. “Mhm,” she said finally, her voice muffled.
She finished speaking and went down.
Jeorge Milton’s lips twitched into a slight grin as she left.
The more Ava Lins thought about it, the angrier she felt. He intended to intentionally torment her, but she couldn’t…
She added two more spoons to the salt when she saw it in her palm.
“I’ll let you eat it and salt you!”
she smiled at the memory of his face as he ate.
She had no idea how much joy it was to deceive.
Jeorge Milton glanced up as he closed the computer and saw her smiling.
His eyes looked transfixed on her, almost hypnotized by her glance…
Ava Lins turned around and met his piercing gaze. Her words were trapped in her throat.
She dreaded his piercing look. “The oatmeal is done,” she replied, turning away.
She served him the Chestnut Chicken Porridge in a dish on the tea table. The aroma of the chicken porridge penetrated the air, making him seem very tasty.
“Be patient.”
She pretended nothing had occurred and advised him to relax before turning around to wipe up the tea table’s mess.
Jeorge Milton eventually ate her meal.
How could he eat it when it was so salty?
He took a spoonful with anticipation.
His grin vanished as he spit out the porridge in his mouth with a napkin.
“What is this?”
How can it be salty and bitter?
Ava Lins had anticipated this. “If you don’t like the food I make, don’t ask me to cook it in the future,” she added, holding back her laughter.
“Since it’s awful, you don’t need to eat it,” she added as she moved up to him.
She attempted to seize his bowl as she spoke.
“When did I ever say I won’t eat?”Jeorge Milton lifted his hand and ducked, as if terrified she might seize his prized possession.
As he spoke, he ate spoonfuls of this meal.
Ava Lins was surprised. It was too salty for him to consume.
She wanted to stop him, but she couldn’t speak.
If she stopped him now, wouldn’t she be admitting she did it?
Ava Lins watched him brush away the food from the bowl while sipping from the cup. She felt guilty.
He lifted his brows at her. “Why are you gazing at me?” You can’t do all these duties and depart today.”
Ava Lins believed her remorse was wasted since he acted like a boss directing his workers.
As she swept the floor, she saw him.
Afternoon
When Ava Lins walked down the stairs, she felt dizzy seeing the confetti-filled living room.
Her patient temper burst.
When he spotted Jeorge Milton still writing with his brush, he twisted the paper into a ball and flung it on the ground.
The maker of rubbish!
Screaming and hurling the mop in front of him “Jeorge Milton, stop it!”
She cleaned the home for a full day, when it might have been done in an hour or two.
Fearful of her savage gaze, he lifted his eyes to her, asking innocently, “Where am I?”
“You!”
Ava Lins pointed to the trash “Look at how much rubbish you’ve made in only a half hour!
Jeorge Milton drew a brow “You and I both work as interior designers. You should know that if it’s not to my taste, I’ll toss it.”
“Then you may dump it in the garbage bin,”Ava Lins said, her cheeks flushed.
He buried his face in his work again, crumpling the paper into a ball and dropping it at her feet, adding lazily, “Don’t you see my legs? Is it really convenient to toss it in the garbage bin so far away? ”
‘You’
“Quiet down, don’t interrupt me while I work,” he said softly as she was ready to erupt in rage.
She was enraged, but he merely sat there, his long fingers stroking the pen, as if she had misunderstood him.
As he started to tidy up the living area, Ava Lins stared at him, her hatred hidden.
When he saw her furious attitude, he raised his gaze and curved his lips slightly, an invisible grin brimming in his dark eyes.
She suddenly looked at him.
Jeorge Milton’s heart sank as he dropped his eyes, wiped away his grin, and pretended to be deep in contemplation…
Ava Lins scowled at him again, and he was going to throw away the papers when he yelled out to her, “But!”
“I appear to have misplaced one, please bring it over here.”
The bag was full with documents, and he wanted to locate them?
He moved his wheelchair over, grabbed her bag, opened them one by one, and dropped them on the ground before she could respond.
Ava Lins glared at the papers on the ground, her little lips around Jeorge Milton.
She knew he was doing it on purpose!
“I found it,” he beamed, holding the piece of paper he discovered.
Ava Lins wanted to shout.
She pulled the bag from his hands and proceeded to pick up the paper on the ground, stifling her rage.
Finally, a tidy living room.
She could go, but there were no other staff in the room, and he couldn’t move freely in his wheelchair.
He wanted to inquire whether he had found someone else to look after him, but she decided not to.

Jeorge Milton called David Irving as soon as she departed “I told you to check into it.”
“Goden Bran’s recent moves seem puzzling. I just know he dined with her family yesterday night. I’ll keep an eye on him for a few days.”
“Yes.”
As he hung up, it started to rain heavily.
The rain came down hard and fast, quickly drenching the whole city.
She had just departed, and it was raining.
Jeorge Milton phoned her telephone without thinking, but she did not answer.
His damaged left leg couldn’t let him stand up.
