BILLIONAIRE’S SECRETARY

CHAPTER THIRTY THREE

Mr. Gavriel turned around to the other side of the bed as he felt uneasy.

Firstly, he was not putting on his suit and his shoes.

Secondly, he was on the bed instead of the chair in his study room.

“What am I doing here?”

“I was supposed to be working in my study room, what the heck am I doing here?” Mr. Gavriel asked himself over and over again as he finally opened his eyes.

“How on earth did I get to my room?” he asked again.

Suddenly, an unimaginable thought came to his senses.

“Or could it be that I took in Christ? No, it cannot be possible,” Mr. Gavriel said to himself as he became alert and looked beside him. He turned to the other side of the bed, but Christina was not there.

‘ Goodness! That was a big relief,’ he said. He sat up on the bed and took a deep breath.

Then he got up from the bed as he took his time to remember how he got to his room, and when he could not recall, he wondered how he slept so deeply not to recall how he got to his room.

“It possibly can’t be Christina because she would not dare do such a thing like that, not to mention touching him,” Mr. Gavriel thought as he walked to his vanity and stared at himself in the mirror.

But where are my suit, my shoes, and my stockings? Mr. Gavriel asked no one in particular, shortly after he recalled that he was hungry and was waiting for dinner to be served, but why was his stomach so heavy and full, like he had already eaten?

Then he stared at the wall clock hanging in the wall, and it was already 12. 45 a. m.

“This is Christina’s doing. She is definitely going to hear from me.” Mr. Gavriel said as he staggered out of his room.

He checked Christina’s room, but she was definitely not there.

“Where could she be?” Mr. Gavriel asked himself.

When Mr. Gavriel was still thinking about where Christina would be at this hour of the night, he heard some noise from the laundry room, so he decided to check it out.

When he got to the entrance of the laundry room, he saw Christina.

She exclaimed after she folded the last piece of clothing she was ironing, then she sat on the chair there as she said something to herself, which Mr. Gavriel could not hear as she rested her head on the wall.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

‘What a stressful night’ she gasped.

“Christina,” Mr. Gavriel called out.

————————————

I did not know I had slept for a long time, but when I heard my name, my heart literally popped out.

“Christina,” Mr. Gavriel called, and I immediately jumped up from the chair and faced him.

“Mr. Gavriel, is there any problem, or is there something I could do to help you?” I asked, but I sincerely didn’t know where that question came from because of the way Mr. Gavriel stared at me with the eyes of a boiled volcano that was about to erupt.

“I am sorry, Mr. Gavriel, I really did not know that question came out of my mouth, and I never thought of asking you such a thing. I am sincerely sorry,” I apologized.

“You are sorry?” “For what exactly, tell me!” Mr. Gavriel replied furiously.

Heck, I was so tired, I did not want this now, and I am feeling so sleepy right now.

Why is this man always my problem?

Why does something that is not supposed to cause an issue cause one for him?

“I am so sorry for sleeping here, and I am so sorry for asking you that question, and most importantly, I am so sorry for apologizing,” I said without thinking because I was already having a serious headache.

This one!

That one’s that!

“What the heck is this man problem? Now I have spoken without thinking about the consequences.” I said to myself while staring at the floor.

“What did you say just now?” Mr. Gavriel asked as he raised his voice at me and stared at me like I had collected something that was very important to him.

“Mmm, actually I did not say anything, but if you heard something then you heard it wrong, so if you would excuse me, I need to get some chores done,” I said as I briskly walked out of his presence and went to put the laundry clothes back in the basket and carried the basket out of the laundry room.

From the corner of my eye, I could see him stare at me with disbelief.

Maybe he thought that I would get scared of him because of a crime not told.

What the heck is actually wrong with him? I am already stressed out because of the load of work he gave me.

I am sorry for walking out on you, Mr. Gavriel, but I had no other option because I was not ready for your rantings and insults. I apologized to no one in particular, but my heart just needed to apologize, and I do not know the reason, so I had to at least say it out.

According to me, the reason I walked out was to get to Mr. Gavriel’s room to put his clothes in place without him being in the room, so I quickly walked into Mr. Gavriel’s bedroom despite the heaviness of the basket I was carrying as I opened the door and carried the basket inside.

“Oh God, please help me, so Mr. Gavriel would not enter here.”

“Oh God, please help me, so Mr. Gavriel would not enter here.”

“Oh God, please help me, so Mr. Gavriel would not enter here.”

I kept on repeating this sentence continuously with anxiety and fear, I did not want Mr. Gavriel to meet me here, and if he does, that would be another problem, and I do not want that.
