Chapter 1126
After a while, Theodore came back with a bouquet of lilies.
He got into the car and presented the bouquet to Rosalie, asking, "Does it look nice?"
Seeing Theodore full of smiles made Rosalie furrow her brows. "Not bad. I'm sure Aurora will like it."
The smile on Theodore's face froze.
Then, he said rather disappointedly, "This is for you and the baby, not for her."
Rosalie sat stunned for a while. "What did you say?"
"Lilies are your favorite flowers. These are for you."
Theodore was worried she might misinterpret his words, so he made himself very clear.
Rosalie looked at him, all confused. "Why are you giving me lilies?"
"Because you like them. Also, I walked past a florist and wanted to buy you a bouquet. Don't you like it?"
Rosalie didn't know what to say and smiled awkwardly. "It's not good of you to suddenly give me flowers. If Aurora sees it, she'll be upset. Give her these flowers."
"But I want to give them to you."
"Why bother? Giving me flowers for no reason, you're..."
"I just want to give you flowers. If you don't like them, just give it to Grandma and tell her you bought it for her."
Rosalie remained silent for a while. Since he had already bought it, it would be a pity to throw it away just like that.
She nodded. "Alright then, I'll give it to Grandma."
Theodore finally smiled and put the flowers in the backseat.
"Let's go. Grandma's still waiting for us," Rosalie said.
Rosalie was worried Grandma might get confused and not recognize her. She wanted to seize the chance while Grandma still recognized her to talk more with the old lady

"Alright, let's go." Theodore started the engine and drove off.
Along the way, Theodore glanced a few times at the baby in Rosalie's arms.
"Rose, now that you've divorced Sebastian, have you two decided who the baby will go with?"
"With me," Rosalie replied without any hesitation.
"Did Sebastian not have any objections? Is he not fighting for custody of the baby?"NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.
Rosalie couldn't explain this to
Theodore right now, so all she could
give was a vague answer. "He can see the baby since we parted amicably. This is between the two of us, so you don't need to bother yourself with it."
Theodore was rather disappointed to hear that. He nodded. "Got it."
Rosalie stared at Theodore's side profile, suddenly feeling suffocated. She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but eventually swallowed her words back.
What could she say to him? Now that she had hidden the truth from him for so long, she didn't dare to tell him.
She didn't know under what circumstances Theodore would find out. Suddenly, she felt scared. When that time comes, he would surely hate her. They didn't speak at all for the rest of the journey.
Theodore drove Rosalie to Grandma's place. When they reached the door, Aurora and Angie immediately greeted them there.
Aurora approached Rosalie enthusiastically. "You're finally here! We've been waiting for you for a long time. Grandma keeps talking about wanting to see you."
She then approached Theodore and wrapped her arms around his, leaning intimately into his embrace. "Theo, this is great! Grandma will be so glad." Theodore gently pushed Aurora away, keeping his distance from her.
Aurora looked at him all confused before glancing at Rosalie. She opened her mouth to say something, but Rosalie beat her to it.
"Oh, yes, Theo. Please help me grab the flowers I got for Grandma."
It wasn't convenient for her to do so with her baby in her arms, and she didn't want to accept the flowers from Theodore anyway. The best solution was to just give it to Grandma.
