CHAPTER 100
Chapter 100
Summer POV
“I’m going to apologize to him myself to pardon thy girlfriend. Forgive her, Sir, Xander apologized to the principal on my behalf.
“You don’t need to. I’m going to talk to Hunter myself, and everything will be settled. You have nothing to worry about,” I never imagined the principal could be this considerate, and secing him like this was a bit shocking. Although I was enraged by the shit happening now, but I was also grateful to Xander for coming to save me when I thought there was no other way.
“Thank you, Sir. Can I make an announcement in her class, please?” He asked the principal, and he quickly gave him his permission. I had no idea what his connection with this school was, but it seemed to me like he was someone powerful and has an impact on the school for him to
have been respected like that.
“Thank you,” He said to the principal, then held my hand and led me out of the principal’s office.
“What is going on?” I whispered as he walked me down the hallway, but he just shrugged.
“Just trust me and follow me,” He replied to me instead, and I sighed. No matter the anger I tried to look at this from, it was still confusing. We finally got to my class, and the students went silent the moment we stepped inside. The homeroom teacher was already in class, and the way he bowed to Xander made me even more confused.
“What in the holy spaghetti is freaking going on?” I asked myself, but it didn’t seem like I was going to get answers anytime soon, so I gave up.
“I’m sorry for interrupting your class. I need like three minutes of your time, please,” He spoke politely after checking his wristwatch.
“Sure, you can take your time,” the man replied to him.
He held my hand and dragged me to the front of the class, and when I raised my gaze, I saw the students all staring at me with an expression on their faces I couldn’t explain what it meant. Hunter was glaring hard at me from his seat, along with the other boys and it only got me
more confused.
“I’m sorry for interrupting your class, but I have a favor to ask from every one of you, please…” He paused, then glanced at me and clasped his fingers with mine, returning his gaze to the class again.
“I want to plead with you to please stop bullying my girlfriend. I don’t care what has happened in the past, but starting today, you can’t walk on her like she is a piece of trash…” He paused, then raised my hand in the air.
“She is special to me, and because of that, I wouldn’t want anyone hurting her. I don’t want anyone to make her cry here. Not anymore, please,” His eyes were particularly piercing at Hunter as he said those words, and my jaw dropped. It felt like a dream to me. A dream! couldn’t comprehend because everything was so confusing.
“Having made myself clear, I would like to take my leave now,” He smiled at them, then turned to me and smiled. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“Everything is settled now. Nobody will ever bully you again. They won’t dare,” He winked at me as he held my cheek in his palm, and I scoffed silently. Everything seemed crazy to me.
“What is going on?” I whispered, but he smiled instead.
“Let’s have dinner together tonight if you are curious,” He winked at me, then leaned forward and kissed my forehead unexpectedly, and I heard gasps from the students.

I stood rooted to the spot and watched him walk out of the class. It was hard to comprehend what the heck was happening, and when I turned to the class, they were all staring at me like they’d just seen a ghost. Can someone please explain to me what in the world is going on?
I was about to go to my seat when Hunter suddenly stood up and started walking toward me. Before I could do anything, he grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the class.
“Let me go! You’re going to bruise my hand,” I protested as he dragged me down the hallway and up to the rooftop. He finally left my hand when we got to the rooftop
“What the heck was that?” He snapped at me, and I pulled a puzzled look.
“What was what?” I asked him cluelessly even though I knew what he was on about. He took a deep breath and threw his head back for a moment and turning his gaze to me again with an angry expression on his face.
“What the hell is going on between you and Xander?” He yelled at me like someone that just caught his girlfriend cheating on him.
“You heard him back there. I’m his girlfriend…”
“Just cut that crap Girlfriend? Are you kidding me? Since when did you become his girlfriend…”
“Was I supposed to summon you when I was accepting him as my boyfriend?” I scoffed unbelievably. I guess I didn’t have any reason to fear him now, although a part of me was still confused,
“Summer…”
“I beg to take my leave now, I cut him off and walked out of the rooftop without sparing him another glance.
The stares i got from the students as I walked to my seat were making me feel uncomfortable, but not that I could do anything about it, anyway
“Did you see that? Isn’t he cool just now?” Chloe whispered when I sat down, and I scoffed.
“I’m so jealous of you, Summer. You have the best boyfriend in the world. I wish to be like you when I grow up,” She blushed, cupping her cheeks in her palms and smiling sheepishly like someone that has just fallen in love. I wasn’t expecting less from her considering how crazy she could be, anyway.
It was finally closing time, and I went home with Chloe today, but I regretted my decision of going home with her because she never stopped talking about Xander until we got home.
“Good luck with your date tonight. Be gentle with him, and don’t be reckless. I’m rooting for the both of you,” She said when we got to the front of my apartment, and I scoffed unbelievably
I shook my head and walked into my apartment, ignoring her. I threw myself on the couch as soon as I walked into the living room. My body felt so stuff and tired that I could barely move, and thinking about the incident back at school was driving me nuts.
“Is he kidding me? What boyfriend?” I huffed, sitting up on the couch. Well, he’s got some explanation to do to me tonight….
