Salute To The General

Chapter 3495 Revent

At Divine Palace, the group of elite Gods all wore expressions of intense anger.

The expression of God King, Medille, did not look any better either.

"What message did Nathan ask you to convey to me when he let you go?" Helios knelt on the ground, his voice trembling as he said, "I dare not say it."

"Spit it out! Don't leave out a single word!" Medille demanded angrily.

Helios had no choice but to utter truthfully, "He said that Earth has no intention of making an enemy of Divine Realm. He hopes Divine Realm and Earth can coexist peacefully without interfering in each other's affairs. If you refuse or agree but then go back on your word, Your Majesty, he'll personally come to Divine Realm and pummel us until we beg for mercy on our knees."

After hearing that, the elite Gods present were all enraged.

"How arrogant!"

"In our eyes, Earth is nothing more than a dumpsite, and humans are the lowly creatures within it. How dare they threaten Divine Realm? This is preposterous!"

"Nathan isn't human but a vampire. But he seems to have forgotten that even the once glorious vampires have become our prey. What right does he have to challenge us?"

"Send someone to Earth to kill him and teach those humans and those remnant vampires a lesson, Your Majesty!"

Tap! Tap!

God King, Medille, drummed his fingers on the armrest of his throne, producing two resounding taps.

The elite Gods ceased clamoring and focused their attention on him.

They knew full well that the final decision would still be in the hands of God King for such a significant matter.

Medille stared at Helios and asked calmly, "Did Nathan mention how he plans to deal with the Gods he captured?"This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Helios answered truthfully, "He said that if you agree to his term of Divine Realm and Earth coexisting peacefully without interfering in each other's affairs henceforth, he'll release Mila and other God Warriors."

Medille sneered, "He's quite audacious. Since he wants to negotiate, I'll send someone to negotiate with him."

As soon as his words rang out, the elite Gods present were all dumbfounded.

Everyone insisted there was no need to negotiate with Nathan and they should just send elites to Earth to kill Nathan and wreak havoc.

However, Medille shook his head.

"Although Gods possess a long

lifespan and invincible physique, we are not perfect either. We have formidable combat prowess, yet our ability to reproduce is beyond poor. Divine Realm's population has been experiencing negative growth for a long time. To us, every warrior, and even each individual, is exceedingly important. Unless absolutely necessary, I don't want to launch a large-scale attack on Earth and start a war."

His words struck a chord with the elite Gods, and they inexorably nodded in agreement.

Despite the might and power of Gods, their population remained stagnant.

They only had a little over a hundred thousand people. On the other hand, there were several billion humans on Earth.

If a war were to break out, a warrior of Gods would be trading his life for the lives of ten thousand humans on Earth. Such a kind of victory obtained through sacrificing one life for ten thousand of the enemy's lives was something they could never withstand.

Medille continued, "If Nathan wants

to negotiate, can send someone to talk with him. But he must submit to me, and Earth must provide Divine Realm with the vampire cores we need every year. If he's willing to become our servant of the Divine Realm and work for us, we can spare his worthless life."

Revent, who was burly and imposing, asked in a deep and resonant voice, "What if he doesn't agree?"

In a cold voice, Medille said, "Then,

we shall kill him. We'll kill any leader of those countries on Earth who disagrees. We can even topple their regime, bolster the divine authority of the Curia, and bring all of the earthlings under the Curia's Control. The divine authority shall surpass imperial power, and Pope Eugene will rule Earth."

Upon hearing that, the eyes of the elite Gods lit up. They all said in unison, "Great idea!"

Medille's voice softened slightly.

"Of course, eliminating the leaders of every country on Earth and destroying their systems is a massive undertaking. Supporting the Curia to be the sole power is also quite strenuous. It'd be best if Nathan knows what's good for him and agrees to submit to us." The elite Gods bobbed their heads in agreement, one after another.

Medille's gaze fell on the burly and imposing War God. "Revent," he called out.

"At your service!" Revent replied in a deep voice.

Medille said, "You are Divine Realm's War God, and your capabilities surpass Gryffen. Additionally, you're a friend of his. Thus, I'm entrusting you the task of going to Earth to negotiate with Nathan and the rest of the humans. Do you have any problem with that?" "I will certainly not disappoint you, Your Majesty," Revent declared loudly and firmly.

Medille nodded. "All right, go and get ready. Then, head to Earth."

"Understood!" Revent replied.
