Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 3403

"He always hangs up on me whenever I remind him about things like this. At his age, he still eats so much grilled food and drinks so much alcohol. I've told him countless times and he still refuses to listen," Sugar grumbled, forgetting the fact that every time she and her fellow disciples went back to visit Silver, they always brought him good food and alcohol.

He was more like a child than ever. All he liked to do was eat and drink. Anyway, with Lilian and Doc around, there was no need to worry about the old men's health.

The next morning, the Yorks arranged for a cavalcade of luxury cars to pick up the elders. Only Patrick, still not in very good health, stayed behind at the Stones' residence. After having breakfast with Patrick, Audrey called Serenity.

Last night, Audrey called Corey and arranged to meet her today. Audrey had asked Corey to meet to talk about Liberty and Duncan. Although Serenity was Liberty's younger sister, their parents were dead and she was one of the few family members Liberty had, so when it concerned her sister's lifelong happiness, she naturally had to show up.

"Are you up already, Seren?" Audrey asked.

"Hey, Aunt Audrey. I'm already on the way to your place, I haven't had breakfast yet though. Could you leave something for me to eat once I arrive? There's no need to give me too much. Just some oat porridge with sauerkraut would do. I'm quite into sauerkraut lately."

After getting pregnant, Serenity liked eating sour things a lot.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

Audrey laughed and said, "You can eat whatever you want. You like eating sour foods so much, I think you can forget about having a daughter. You know what they say if you crave sour food during your pregnancy, it'll be a boy. If you crave spicy food, it's a girl."

Serenity replied, "That's wildly inaccurate. When Liberty was pregnant with Sonny, she loved eating meat, and both sour and spicy food. She had a lot of the common folks' telltale signs she was going to have a girl yet she ended up with a boy."

"Alright, I'll get the cook to prepare some for you right away. We haven't had it in ages too. Alice loved it at the beginning of her pregnancy too, but after giving birth, she doesn't even want to touch it anymore."

A woman might crave certain things only during her pregnancy and stopped loving them after childbirth when their appetite resumed normalcy. "Are you coming alone or is Zachary coming with you?"

"I'm by myself. Zachary has to head back to the manor because the old-timers have all gone over there. He and his brothers have to entertain them. Mr. and Mrs. Bucham are also coming back today. They'll be arriving at Wildridge Manor shortly. They heard the elders came to Wiltspoon and took the first flight back."

Julian wanted to wait for Quinn to go on break before he returned to Wiltspoon. Quinn told him to go

home first, but he refused. Their

Julian hoped to register their marriage before Christmas, but Quinn thought it was too rushed, so in the end, they decided to do it after Christmas and have their wedding in the spring.

Julian's pursuit of Quinn was truly a whirlwind romance. Quinn was a straightforward person herself. After ascertaining she had fallen for Julian and that both their parents were satisfied with it, she agreed to marry Julian right away when he brought it up. It was as expected of Julian's savior.

"They're back? They're not spending Christmas in Summervale, then? I thought the whole family would stay in Summervale for Christmas."

Serenity laughed. "They rushed back immediately when they heard the elders had come to Wiltspoon."

The Buchams' line of work was closely related to that of Silver and his disciples. They would occasionally ask them for help, so they had some private dealings.

In fact, many people thought the elders were no longer among the living.
