Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 72

Happy reading….

Haidar should have immediately taken Hera home after attending the wedding. However, they instead had to follow Haidar’s father’s car. The middle-aged man offered only one car because he still wanted to have a long chat with Hera, but Haidar refused because he had also come with his car earlier. So they get into their cars.

“Okay, Mom. I’ll leave Juan,” said Hera, who was calling her mother. She was very worried about Juan’s condition because this was the first time Hera had left Juan all this time since her little son was sick.

“Sure, Hera. You just calm down,” said Jane on the other side of the phone.

“Yes. I’m closed huh?”

“Okay.”

The call ended with Hera who sighed heavily while leaning back in the car seat.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

“How’s Juan?” asked Haidar glancing briefly at Hera before returning to focus on the street.

“His condition is getting better but Doctor Emi hasn’t let us take him home. Juan is still too weak physically,” Hera replied wearily.

If you had thought about Juan, Hera’s face would turn gloomy. It’s been more than a week but they still forbid Hera and family from bringing Juan home. Even though Hera already missed playing with her only son.

Look!

Remembering that alone made Hera unable to hold back her tears. The woman slowly wiped her tears. Nope. She can not dissolve in sorrow. The most important thing now is that Juan’s condition is gradually improving.

“Don’t cry. Juan will definitely be very sad if he sees his mother being a crying,” said Haidar, holding Hera’s hand tightly.

“If you don’t want to see me being a crying, he should get well soon,” Hera said, holding Haidar’s big hand, which felt so warm.

“Juan will recover soon, Hera,” said Haidar. There was not the slightest bit of doubt there.

“Yes. Because that’s what I really hope for.” And Hera had to be sure of that too.

Haidar frowned confused when his father’s car that was in front entered the apartment area he lived in.

‘Why did they even go home?’ Haider thought.

By now they had arrived at the apartment lobby. While walking towards the elevator, Haidar asked Thomas.

“Why are we going home instead? Didn’t Dad say that someone wanted to meet Hera?” asked Heydar.

“Yes, that’s right. And that person is now in your apartment,” said Thomas.

“Is that true?” Haider thought for a moment. “Did you mean Mom?” asked Haidar later. Thomas’ broad smile became Haidar’s answer. Really, Haidar is very happy because he misses the woman who gave birth to him.

Meanwhile, Hera, who was beside him, was filled with anxiety.

‘Oh Lord! So I’m going to meet Haidar’s parents today?’ Hera’s inner voice was restless.

To be honest, this situation was so sudden for Hera. She could only hope that Haidar’s mother was as friendly as his father. Hopefully so.

“Mom!” Haidar called as soon as he opened the apartment door. The man immediately approached his mother who was sitting with Viona in the living room.

“Haidar, you’re home, son!” greeted Shila standing while stretching her arms to hug Haidar.

“I miss you so much,” Haidar whispered.

“Mom too, son.”

After the longing hug was released, the two of them had a light conversation. Shila is so curious about the news of her only son. How could not, since moving to Alatha Haidar rarely contacted her under the pretext of being busy taking care of the company.

Hera, who was still standing where she was, smiled happily seeing how close Haidar was to her mother. It can be seen that Haidar loves his mother very much.

“Hera, why are you still standing here? Let’s join them,” said Thomas.

“Yes, sir,” replied Hera.

The five of them gathered in Haidar’s living room.

“Who’s she?” Shila asked looking at Hera.

“Your son’s girlfriend. Who else would it be,” said Thomas, who was now sitting beside Hera.

“This woman is your girlfriend, Haidar?”

“Yes, Mom. She is Hera Altezza, my girlfriend.”

“Hello, Madam Pratama. Nice to meet you,” greeted Hera as politely as she could.

She don’t know how Hera felt, but the woman who was sitting in front of her didn’t look too happy to meet her. Is there something wrong? Hera felt embarrassed because Haidar’s mother looked at him from head to toe. It felt like being stripped naked in public.

“Very beautiful and very elegant.”

But Shila’s next words made the tense atmosphere melt instantly.

“Eh?” Hera didn’t know what to do. Making her only smile awkwardly. “Thank you very much, Madam Pratama. I am very flattered by your compliment.”

Shila who was very happy moved to sit beside Hera. “You don’t need to be so awkward. Aren’t you Haidar’s girlfriend? You can call me Mom or Mama from now on.”

Hera glanced briefly at Haidar as if asking for an explanation of the situation she was in. However, Haidar only smiled broadly, letting his parents talk to Hera as much as they wanted. Haidar seemed to already know if all this would happen.

So what could Hera do? Of course serving all of Haidar’s parents’ questions which gradually made him feel comfortable and relaxed. How could it not be, Haidar’s parents turned out to be very friendly and fun people. The three of them were so immersed in various kinds of conversation. Haidar himself did not expect that his father and mother could get along with Hera so quickly.

In that situation, Viona, who had been silent all along, chose to leave there. Haidar, who realized this, followed the girl’s steps towards the kitchen.

“Why are you even following me?” she asked.

“As you can see. I’m no longer needed there,” joked Haidar, making both of them chuckle.

Viona walked towards the refrigerator. Take the juice out of there then put it on the table. She also didn’t forget to take two tall glasses for her and Haidar.

“So… you and Hera are lovers now?” asked Viona while pouring the juice into both of their glasses.

Haider nodded. “As you can see. After all, I’ve liked Hera for a long time and now I can finally have her.”

If only you had known Haidar, the words you had just said had broken Viona’s heart into pieces. But the woman was still able to cover it with a sweet smile.

“Well then, congrats to both of you,” said Viona in a slightly hoarse voice.

Unfortunately that sweet smile did not last long. In the end Viona collapsed as well. She couldn’t hold it back any longer, tears streaming down her cheeks.

“Sob…” Viona sobbed.

“Viona, what are you doing? Why are you crying?” asked Haidar panicked. The man approached Viona who was sitting across from the square table.

Without saying a word, Viona immediately hugged Haidar. It didn’t matter that he kept asking why she was crying. All Viona needs now is a place to lean on.

Even if you want to answer, what should Viona answer?

She was crying because Haidar chose another woman to be his lover than her?

Really, it was very embarrassing for a Viona Angelina.

To be continue….
