The Mafia’s Third Wife: Between The Devil’s Triangle

Carlos Gonzalez

Chapter 42 Carlos Gonzalez

“Or else what, Ramos? You would kill my father? All you do is threaten me with my father everytime and it’s getting really annoying.” Raven said.

“Well, what kind I say. I love threatening people with those closest to them because they are their weakness and I know that if I continue to they would do what I asked without hesitation.” Ramos said.

“So you’ll do as I say, when I say it. Understand bitch?”All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

The threat hung in the air, thick and ominous. Raven felt trapped, with no way out. She had to find a way to stop this from happening, but she had no idea how.

As the group left the compound, Raven’s mind was racing. She had to find a way to stop them from killing all those people, but what could she do? She was only one person, against a group of armed and dangerous men.

She knew she had to think of something, and fast. If she didn’t, it would be too late. She would be a party to murder, and she couldn’t live with that. But what could she do?

The group was approaching their destination, and she had to act now or never. But what could she do?

As they approached the place, the men went in and unexpectedly attacked every person in the diner and carried their boss.

Raven could hear gunshots and she was terrified.

Her heart pounding, she held her breath, waiting for the gunshots to stop. But they seemed to go on forever. She couldn’t just sit by and let this happen.

She had to act. And she had to act now. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, then opened them again and took the biggest leap of faith she’d ever taken.

In one swift motion, she turned and ran toward the group, yelling at the top of her lungs.

“Stop!” she yelled, her voice ringing out over the sound of gunfire. “Stop right now!”

The men turned to look at her, confusion and surprise on their faces. She ran toward them, a look of determination on her own face.

“You don’t have to do this!” she said, her voice shaking but still firm. “You can walk away right now. You can put down your guns and just walk away.”

She held her breath, waiting for their response. It felt like an eternity passed before one of the men finally spoke.

“We were ordered to kill every last one of them and take their boss back to the estate for boss has great plans for him.” He said.

“Well, he appointed me as his right hand woman so you will do what I ask. Understand?” Raved said, hoping it would work.

“I’m sorry ma’am but our orders are to kill every last one of them and we will carry out the order. If we don’t, Ramos will kill everyone of us for disobeying his orders.” He said.

So the gunshot continued.

Raven’s stomach dropped. They weren’t going to stop. They were going to carry out their mission, no matter what she said. And she couldn’t let them do that. She had to do something, anything, to stop them.

After they had successfully killed all the people, they the boss and pushed him into the car and drove back to the estate.

Ravens hands were shaking from shock of the whole thing she witnessed. She saw how someone’s life was sapped away before her eyes. It was horrible.

When they got to estate, Ramos men carried the man named Carlos Gonzalez to the torture room where Ramos was waiting for them to bring him.

Ramos sat in front of him.

“So you must be Carlos Gonzalez. The man who had the guts to steal from me.” Ramos said.

“And you must be the ruthless asshole who ordered your men to kill mine. I know who you are, Ramos Escobar, they call you the heartless murder fucker who enjoys killing people for fun and takes other people’s things like it belongs to you.

I guess killing to you is like eating isn’t it? So why don’t you just kill me and get it done with.” Carlos said.

Ramos’s eyes narrowed. He didn’t like being talked to in such a way, especially not by someone he had just captured.

“You are in no position to talk to me like that,” he said, his voice low and threatening. “I am your superior, and you will show me the respect I deserve.”

Carlos laughed, a harsh, mirthless sound. “You think you deserve respect? I think you deserve nothing but a slow, painful death. You deserve to suffer the way you’ve made others suffer.”

The tension in the room was palpable, and Ramos’s temper was rising.
