Unexpected Encounter with my Boss (Vincent and Tiffany)

Chapter 201

Vincent drove to the hospital. Tiffany had no choice but to get out of the car and follow him into the hospital.

At the registration counter, Vincent reached his palm out and said, "Card."

Tiffany rummaged through her bag for a moment before passing him her appointment card.

He tapped on the screen before turning to ask her, "Which doctor do you usually consult with?"

There were many people lining up behind them, and Tiffany did not want to hold them up. She tapped on the screen multiple times and found her regular doctor, Dr. Mark Johnson. After taking their number, they took the elevator upstairs. Tiffany noticed that Vincent didn't look like he was about to leave. She said, "Mr. Lewis, thank you for taking me to the hospital. You can leave now. I can go in myself."

He stopped and asked, "What? Would I embarrass you if we went in together?"

"That's not what I meant-"

Vincent interjected, "Which way should we go?"

Seemingly left with no other way, Tiffany took him to the obstetrics department.

There was a sign outside forbidding men from entering. Vincent passed the appointment card to her and said, "I'll be waiting for you outside."

"Alright," replied Tiffany. With the card in hand, she entered the consultation room.

She was rather distracted by the fact that Vincent would be waiting for her outside.

Mark started with a few routine questions before asking, "Has there been anything out of the ordinary recently?"

Tiffany thought for a moment before replying, "I've been bleeding slightly. Does that count?"

He paused and looked up before continuing, "Have you engaged in rough intercourse?"

Rough intercourse...novelbin

Tiffany flushed as memories of that night rushed to the forefront of her mind.

Mark knew her answer by looking at her expression. With a frown, he said, "If I wasn't mistaken, I saw your boyfriend come with you, right?"

Tiffany stiffened. She knew that Mark had misunderstood their relationship. Just as she was about to explain, he ordered, "Ask him to come in. I have a few words of advice for him."

She replied awkwardly, "He isn't my boyfriend..."

"Would he come with you to a

prenatal check-up if he wasn't your boyfriend?" Mark shook his head resignedly before continuing, "I'm only doing this because you remind me of my daughter. Call him in. I'll ask him myself."

However, Tiffany refused and insisted, "You can just tell me your advice. I'll be careful."

"You can't engage in rough

intercourse. Haven't I told you that before? You're too delicate, and I see that your boyfriend looks like a domineering businessman. Do you not have a say at home? Even if he doesn't listen to you, he has to prioritize the baby," said Mark. As he spoke, he called the receptionist.

After the call went through, he instructed, "Layla, ask Tiffany's accompanying family members to come inside." "Alright, sir."

Everything had happened too quickly. Tiffany couldn't stop him in time.

Before long, someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

The door to the consultation room was pushed open, and Vincent strode in.

Mark asked plainly, "You're Tiffany's boyfriend, aren't you?"

Vincent closed the door and walked over to stand behind Tiffany. He looked down at her upon hearing Mark's question.

Tiffany waved her hands frantically, seemingly in a hurry to deny their relationship. She said, "Of course not. He's only my ex-boss."

Mark did not reply. He stared straight at Vincent, waiting for his response.

Vincent did not give a direct answer and asked instead, "What's the problem?"

Without beating about the bush, Mark jumped straight to the main point by saying, "Intercourse is prohibited for the first three months of pregnancy. I've been telling Tiffany this every time she comes for a check-up.

"I understand that you're young, which means you have a roaring sex drive. But it's better not to be too rough with her during the first and last three months of her pregnancy for the sake of the baby."
